I told them that [former import] Shawn (Daniels) is no longer with us. Somebody has to fill the void left by Shawn because if we play the same way as the last conference, nothing will happen to us.

Give the credit to my teammates. They did not give up, they did not quit.

We need to experience this [playoff] to go to a higher level. That (9-7) is a solid slate and the guys are now believing that we can be at the top four.

We're in top condition. The key in the next game would be our ability to adjust to what Talk 'N Text would be throwing at us.

We must continue to find ways to solve the mismatches on the floor.

The way everything went down last year was a little awkward for both of us just given the situation and how well the team ended up playing and how far we ended up going. It's one of those situations where the front office makes decisions. I was happy that I was able to finally get a chance to prove my worth as a starter.
