I told Brandon the other night I thought it'd be 55 percent (for him). If anything, I'm happy I had such a good showing. It's been a very rewarding experience.

It does make it difficult. I've had to struggle with taking special-interest money or grassroots money. The only special interest I represent is the voter, so I think I've done the right thing.

I heard it was a candidate behind it. If you're purposely trying to block a candidate, that's not in the public's best interest. It causes me concern that someone would resort to those tactics. It's dirty politics.

It wasn't our night,

It is hard to really describe what this night means because it has been so long since we had a true home game. Everything went well and we had a good crowd. It was a great opening night.

We weren't as consistent as we should be. It was a lot better than (Wednesday) night. We got some easy baskets inside to the point that they started double-teaming Leah. We really didn't go back to that. That's a little of our inexperience. Give Ashland credit. They played some tough defense and made it tough on our guards.
