I thought what a wonderful thing it is to leave a legacy to this world, which he has, because his music is his legacy. I hated to see it just go away.

This approach may be legitimate with taxpayers who are known evaders. But it's very upsetting when a company's affairs are actually in order - especially for individual officers who can be made personally liable. There have been cases of people being wrongfully arrested.

Be-bop of the '50s vintage as played by all the old-timers is great, but it's old and none of the new younger musicians are aware of it, really. In the back of my mind, I had thought about bringing it up to this time frame so it would attract the younger musicians.

I've read about the budget and the need for matching funds. I would be willing to see the money better allocated in the city budget. The library is pretty important and it was pretty well neglected last year.
