I thought we generated some good scoring chances, ... They took the game to us in the first 45 minutes.  However, I thought we did a better job in the second half.  Illinois State is a good team.  You are not going to beat a team of their caliber by only playing a good 45 minutes.

Ball State makes it an absolute priority to comply with all NCAA rules, and our student-athletes understand we take this very seriously, ... Our primary focus right now is ensuring that students going into competition are eligible to play.

We did some good things today, ... It is tough to score in our game.  You have to give credit to Youngstown State.  They were organized and played well defensively.  However, getting the shutout is real important to us.  When you go through a weekend and allow only one goal, you are going to win a lot of games.

It is always neat to see a team make some great adjustments when it is down, ... Our depth was a huge factor in the win today.  If everyone goes on the field and makes a positive impact like they did this afternoon, it will give us the opportunity to play 17 or 18 players a game.
