I thought it was a great idea.

I wish she had been alive to see it. When I was a little girl, I used to lock myself in my room and play her records. Singing her songs is something I had always wanted to do. The tribute was a nice way of showing her how much we admired her.

The hours of promotion, rehearsals, recordings and photo shoots paid off with this performance. It was one of the best performances of my career. I really loved every minute of it. We all did.

I just thought it was something different and unique. And the judges would pay attention to what we have to offer.

Judges are looking for showmanship, original choreography and overall well-rounded dancers and technique. Our goal this year is to receive the superior rating.

We are out there to showcase their talent and see what other teams have to offer.
