I think we had a case of the nerves. We didn't play our game right away.

We came roaring back in a big way.

It was a nice season opener in that we had a chance to see some good things and to get some innings for everyone on the team.

It's disappointing that we lost. But we got outplayed. Based on the way we played, we didn't deserve to play for the state title.
