I think we all sat in our hotel rooms (after the semifinal) and sulked. Once we got in the locker room, we let it go. Wherever we finished is better than people thought we'd do.

I thought it was better for us not to give them a chance. I just didn't think we needed to play defense.

It was one of our goals, to start out strong and start quick.

Overall, I was happy with our performance.

I was a chunky little kid, and when they sat me in that wagon, it tipped backward and I banged my head on the (concrete) floor. I was howling pretty good, but Dad went outside and cried his eyes out.

It just sat up there for a minute, but then it fell off.
