I think this is what golf is all about, ... You have the same crowd that you would normally have in a regular LPGA event, but . . . you get some emotions out there that you wouldn't expect to see on the golf course. . . . It's a beautiful thing.

We did what we needed to do, ... And the crowd was great today, so much better than yesterday.

My friends don't think it's a very hard sport. They think it's just hopping around in front of a crowd of people, but they're wrong. It's very hard to do.

There was an over-under bet on how many times Nancy would cry during the week. I think I beat her. I was weeping all week.

[While some coaches believe the changed environment spells doom and gloom for college golf, others aren't quite as pessimistic.] There are so many great players out there that are untapped, ... Maybe it's international [golfers] or kids that didn't [play in] the AJGA. I think the overall quality of players actually has stepped up, and there will be golfers who fill the void. This will be an opportunity for more players to shine.
