I think these numbers relate to women having responsibility in their lives, of more women having to support their families.

An individual without information cannot take responsibility; an individual who is given information cannot help but take responsibility.

Our problem is that we really need to take responsibility for the different things we need to do. We only have until May, so what we're trying to do is organize ourselves.

It's an amazing place. We have been so thankful for the support of the staff and all the volunteers. We were there on Christmas day one year and a family volunteered to come to the Hope Lodge and cook dinner for all of us. It was a mom, dad and their two daughters. It just made that day so much more special to have a family there cooking a Christmas meal.
