I think there's a lot of serious implications people don't understand. People take for granted the many, many benefits that come from having a legally sanctioned marriage.

The support for same sex marriage isn't there yet - fine. It's a hard idea for people to get their heads around. But let's give people some time to figure out where they're at before we lock something into the constitution.

I generally have a problem with Microsoft limiting software to those people who buy SA, ... And this is strange. Microsoft says that unless you pay a premium [by signing up with SA] you can't use this [single disk image] to deploy our product? That's just a way to irritate customers.

That statement suggests that the whole enchilada is on the table. But that's simply impossible. It would mark a huge and strange departure for Microsoft, far beyond anything required.

They have never taken so long to refresh a client OS.

I mean, obviously, these people don't deserve to die for a mistake. Or be raped for a mistake, or be accused of rape for a mistake. But how about warning people not to make mistakes like this?
