I think the happiest thing that we came across was that it was the exact same situation but we handled it differently. It shows that we grew up and changed and I think that was the best feeling.

I think Kennedy has done a wonderful job and he has handled his situation very professionally, and even had some success. I support Kennedy 100 percent, but as to whether he should be hired I shouldn't answer that. That's up to the administration.

What you have to like is how he handled the situation, how he handled the team, his calmness, how he ran the team,

I think he's handled the situation well. When you're a Rule 5 guy, it's almost to the veteran players like you're on scholarship. Sometimes I think that gets resented a little bit. He's handling himself real well. He was quiet when he first came up, kind of paid the respect to the veterans and then kind of slowly but surely kind of started showing his personality -- he's done a good job with that.

I told him sometime in the season we were going to be in the exact situation, and he was going to make it. And he did.
