I think so. I thought we were much better than an 0-3 team. Now we've kind of turned the corner.

Both teams are better. We got better contact and hit the ball better. But Colonel Crawford has, too.

That's a great way to put it. We kind of got in a shell the first week of our (league) season. We didn't do the little things. I told them I wanted them to learn from that.

I don't think our team batting average is all that good, but I would love to see what our average is with runners in scoring position. It comes down to hitting with confidence with the right frame of mind.

From a pitching and defensive standpoint, we played well enough to win. We just have to start taking that lump out of our throats offensively.

We just need to hit. But that will come.
