I think Lobby Day is just a day when they ... leave their schedules open to talk to people.

People never know who their state legislator is. They're kind of obscure people who are in Richmond making decisions for us, and if they get 10 letters on one subject, then that's a big deal.

You can't just lobby. It's one part of a larger way to effect change.

Lobbying is just a fancy word for talking to your legislators and ... telling them how you feel about an issue. It's something everyone can do.

People like Spencer Tracy held up because they had the background originally, but to this day they never have changed Mr. Gable's role, or most of them.

I'm really surprised people in this day and time would try to take advantage of the system that's intended to help those in need.
