I think it's sad for girls' hockey when you have refs that take away the kids' hard work and don't let them play.

It's nice to see the girls' hard work get recognized. Even though the preseason polls don't mean a whole lot, it does show that we are getting some respect.

What's happening is the coaching staff is bonding and the kids are starting to believe. All the hard work is really starting to pay off.

I'm still proud of the girls for taking us this far. They worked hard, and that hard work paid off for them.

It's not all about hard work. We try to make it as fun as we can for the kids. Aside from just soccer we have fun things like icky-sticky brownie day and dress the coaches day. To make it fun for the kids.

It's huge because it shows these kids the fruits, if you will, of their hard work and efforts. (This) lets them know they do have the opportunity at the next level.
