I think it's a great event; it's a very worthy cause. I think it's a unique event for Ames and for Special Olympics Iowa. I think they're pretty innovative doing an event like this.

It's always fun to shoot the guns; we also did the role playing. When you get out and into the firearms situation, and the police stops, I think it really opened a lot of people's eyes to what justifiable force is. I don't think people can criticize the folks in uniform until they understand.

I thought it was extremely informative. There were a lot of aspects of the department that I had no idea how they operated. I was amazed with how much they do with the resources they have.

My mother always told me that as you go through life, no matter what you do, or how you do it, you leave a little footprint, and that's your legacy.

I got a Walkman, I had the 'Footloose' soundtrack and I danced to it constantly.

And out of all the movies, I don't know what it is, I'll always sit down and watch our 'Footloose'. I cry, I get excited, I cheer, my heart pounds. I really enjoy it.
