I think it was the early success I had. They had to give me respect that I was just going to go score, so they had to double me. I used that to my advantage and kicked it out.

Seventh isn't so bad for the first time being here. We left it all out there and did the best we could.

The biggest problem we had is we could not get the ball into the post. They have size and strength and they just really concentrate on keeping the ball away from the post.

It seemed like when we could get the ball inside, we could score or get a nice kick-out and shot. But shots just weren't falling, and we struggled to get the ball inside. It made us completely ineffective on offense.

BYU doesn't have a scholarship for me, but they said if I came to BYU I would have a spot on the team and be treated like a scholarship player.

They fed us a lot. The coach at Davis said they want me to come in and play my first year and be a scorer for them.
