I think it was just our defensive execution.

Our goal is to go to Los Alamos (2-1, No. 7 in 4A) and take care of business. They're a good team ... But if we show up on defense and continue to play offense like we did, we can compete with just about anybody.

It was back and forth the whole game. It was exciting from a fan's perspective. If we'd won, it would have given a lift for the program.

We really got some confidence from the game. They came off the field feeling so good. If they can take that into practice this week? and I expect them to? I think it'll help. I'd like to see us get on a winning streak.

The difference tonight was intensity and execution -- things we lacked all year.

Our execution and passing wasn't very good. We had a couple of guys on a couple of shifts who couldn't handle the puck, and it disrupted the whole power play.
