I think it should just stay with school supplies so it focuses on the people they are trying to help -- families with school-age children.

The fundraising itself means a lot. These are moneys that help so the music programs aren't going to the school committee.

We are trying to get them thinking of having a technical school there. We want to help with that as well. I feel that as a human being if you see other people no matter who they are that need help, it would be inhumane not to offer some assistance. It can only work out for the betterment of Africa and Bermuda as a whole. I love the country and the children. I will definitely back.

The Red Cross officials were telling people not to just show up there to help-probably because they were trying to evacuate people and didn't want others coming in,

It's just frustrating, ... All you're trying to do is help and get help to people in need and you see these people on TV just begging for help and whoever, I'm not going to point any fingers, but ... it's very, very, very difficult.
