I think faster and, maybe more importantly, more efficiently. Not only as the game goes on, but as the season goes on.

Maybe that slip in the 500 actually helped, ... The 500, I was on the last turn and trying, maybe, to get too much out of it.... When I slipped in the 1,000, in a split second it went through my mind: 'Don't panic. Don't try to get it all back in one stride. Just ride it out and try to accelerate out of the turn.'

I was a good kid, I think. Maybe a bit cheeky. I only turned bad as I grew older! No, just kidding, though I probably did start to go a little off the rails with school and all that.

It was an important game for me, just being able to finish the season good. It's a start that I'll think about a lot longer because I have no chance to redeem myself.

It's like a lifetime. You just think about it. The season is long. We're at game (65) and it seems like forever. Think about coming, and putting on your skates, and how many coaches have gotten on your nerves, and how many players you've seen. You've seen them all 100 times.

I don't think anybody goes into the season and says, 'Hey, we want to make the NIT,' but it's still a mark of progress. It's still something to build off.
