I think as more and more fishermen across the state realize what's been done to their resource, they will be asking their representatives for some action.

(Neil) is a returning starter who has a lot of speed, covers a lot of ground in the outfield, and has a surprising strong bat. He's deceiving. He's one of the fastest that we have on this team.

We faced a couple of good teams. This particular instance, we didn't hit the ball too well. Yesterday we had 10 hits. Today, we came out a little flat. We'll be all right.

The best thing about baseball is that there are so many situations that can occur. It was a tough loss but I think the guys will be fine. We have a whole lot of games left and I know we have the makeup of an excellent team.

It was nice to see the 10th-grader come in and finish it off and have the support of his team. Being a part of this group of kids makes this very special. I have several of them in my classes and have coached some of them in football. This has been really positive because they work really hard.

Kids are very resilient, and they bounce back. They are fine, but this was a great win for them.
