I started in elementary school. I tried clarinet first since my mom had played it but I didn't like it. When I tried the violin it was like, 'Wow, this is fun.' It's like my passion. I love playing the violin.

I didn't achieve my goal (state championship), so for that reason, I'm not happy with myself. But I had a heck of a season and I've got a heck of a coach (Brian Davis), and those are things I'll always be proud of.

You were at school and you were pimply and no one wanted to know you. You get into a group and you've got thousands of chicks there.

Last year, I went with my sister and it really made me want to be in high school rodeo. There's such a family atmosphere, and everybody is there for you.

We haven't beaten a top school this year and this would have been a good win, but we've got a couple more and we've just got to think about those games now.

It was probably going to be too late anyway for my client to get into school. So, at this point, the delay is not really a factor.
