I see a different type of year than the Braves are used to. If you ask Bobby, it has to be one of the most challenging seasons in his whole career. Definitely different. To me, a Cinderella story.

Julio had a great run with Atlanta. He loves Bobby Cox, loved playing with the Braves. They gave him an opportunity no one else would.

Last year, the surgery was a tough decision, but I had to make a decision based on my career. It was a decision to get healthy, and start over with a new team at 100 percent.

When you replace a Jeremiah a year ago and try to replace Hugh this year, we would never ask those guys to be those players. We just ask them to bring what they bring to the table, and hopefully it'll add to what we already have. But I would never say anybody could replace what we lost in Hugh. No one person could ever do that for us. Because what he brought wasn't just on the field, but in the locker room also.

Last year was a tough decision for me, to end my season so short. But it was the right decision for me, because right now I feel great. I can go out here and sprint full speed right now, but I'm just going to pace myself for April 5.

Bobby (Hughes) has been a solid four-year starter for us. He has been through a lot, and was a great leader.
