She really needed that. She needed to just be a teenager and remember who she was before all of this.

When I go to these drives, see people who don't even know her and don't know what this disease is even about helping out it's great.

The community here has been immensely supportive. We have had dozens of bone marrow drives in the area, and so many people have reached out. It is what gets us through.

When she found out that she had it, she immediately decided that she would graduate high school. Even though she was in the hospital for seven months, bald head and all, she managed to graduate with honors.

She is the best kid in the whole world. She is bright, smart, funny, and she is so outgoing.
