I saw a lot of confused looks from the newcomers. I expect that from freshmen. They'll learn quickly because of the number of returnees. They did show some good sparks at different times today.

We've got to finish strong, because of the strength of schedule, and 17 and 18 wins gets us in the tournament. The committee needs to treat [the MWC] like some of the bigger conferences and make sure we get some teams in the tournament. This has been one of the strongest years in the Mountain West Conference's history.

I'm excited to get a player with her capabilities. Hanna gained valuable experience at LSU and will be a great fit for us at the power forward spot.

We knew they hadn't been going to their bench as much, but all their players are dangerous. They obviously had a lot of reserves step up against us. Their depth makes them a much tougher team.

We got it to our best shooter.

It's a missed opportunity. I don't know any other way to look at it. There is a lot of basketball left, and we got a good Utah team coming in [ Saturday], but we had our opportunities.
