I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn: / Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.

Fools are more to be feared than the wicked.

When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.

The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.
