I said to the boys we can either fire up or if we back off they'll beat us by 20 or 30 points.

The fever has caught on. Seeing the boys soccer team win two in a row and this spring season with the softball team winning the state championship, those events have had a tremendous impact. To see 34 students come out is phenomenal. Usually by this time last year we had a few that quit. This core of 34 players will stick with it.

I really don't want to speculate, but it's probably fairly obvious for us.

It's now up to all of us to turn cease-fire into peace, to turn peace into a lasting settlement and the countries of former Yugoslavia into a stable and prosperous part of the European family,

That's when the other boys have to step up. I think it makes us better overall.

So far, so good. My boys are playing great and, fortunately, the other teams are co-operating against us. I feel really good right now.
