I remember we lost one game that first season something like 88-12. It's humiliating, especially for the girls who have to walk through the hallways the next day. But there are some really good life lessons that can come from going through something like that.

I think we've come back a lot this season. We never, ever give up, especially in a state tournament game.

Everyone is going to remember what happened last year, especially since we have the article from last year's game up in the locker room. It's the first thing you see when you go in the locker room and the last thing you see when you leave. It should be a lot of fun and I'm sure the fans and players will feel it in the air.

As I've said before, one thing that's remained constant almost from the first game of the regular season until now is that if we get goaltending and we square off, at least, in that position, we win hockey games.

Getting to the championship game with an undefeated record is great, especially with the way our season [the Gators entered the tournament 7-22] has gone thus far. We can take a lot from this week, whether we win the championship or not. We've played pretty well.

We've lost six, but we've been in every game but the first one. It's not like we're the worst team in the league.
