I recognize President Zedillo's honesty, his patriotic sense, and his vision in promoting and realizing the strongest democratic reforms ever accomplished for the country.

Our party is alive and will remain alive, and will know how to recover, with the unity of all its members, the trust of the majority.

It's unacceptable that in Mexico, 40 million Mexicans live in poverty, many people are unemployed and salaries never increase. These things have to change and they are going to change.

Wanting honesty depends on how a person takes it... if you take it to heart and lightly, it's good. But when u take it the other way, it breaks off the chain, and that is really sad.

It's not about conquering, it's about convincing, persuading about our concrete proposals with transparency and honesty.
