I really don't need to suffer. I can really become a happy person and still make good music - in fact, better music.

The partner that you have is supposed to make you a better person, and when you're happy, you're a better person.

All I can do is make good music and make it for the fans, not for anybody else.

It makes me happy to work. And it makes me a better mother to be a happy person.

I decided to try celibacy because I heard it would help the meditation, and I tried meditation because I heard it would help with the music. So, it all really comes back to the music.

I'm a happy person but an angry citizen.
