I particularly resent those humans who use that fact as the "only" reasonable excuse for being stupid.

Who says more is better? For example, the 30 seconds to view the credits for the movie Sergeant York, as opposed to the 30 minutes for any one of the Star Wars movies. I suspect the difference in budgets are of similar magnitudes. But, at least, we got color in the latter.

The concept of gravity became crystal clear to me on that day when I tried to look at my physics lab partner, who just happened to be wearing a low cut blouse . . . in the eye.

A lot is said about environment being the main reason people do what they do. I think we have to squeeze in relativity, as well. Consider the billiards player and the golf player. Remove the sterotypic smoked-filled pool hall and the glitz of the clubhouse and the central idea still remains: Both guys are still just trying to put the damned ball in the hole.

I hear the phrase "Ignorance is bliss" from time to time. If that's true, then "Stupidity is orgasmic."

There is a wonderfully patriotic song that we celebrate at the start of sports events and other gatherings of the American people. Just an observation, but, doesn't our national debt clearly show that we're using those glorious words "... land of the free ..." in a way not intended by the song's writer?
