I never expected to go into producing but I wanted to do sports broadcasting.

We're not the UNO news, so we strive to branch out to the Omaha community.

Not many people have the opportunity to get the experience of working in a live newscast before they graduate from college and go looking for a job, and we have that opportunity at UNO.

Everyone involved in the newscast gets to potentially have thousands of people look at the work we've done, so it's a rewarding experience.

I couldn't even write the newscast without everyone else in the class.
