I love to record and do new stuff. I also love to perform live because there's a connection between you and the audience.

I feel like we accomplished a great deal in a short amount of time.

It was time. I wanted to do my own music and just have a little more control over the direction.

What you see is what you get. There are no gimmicks. It's not like other forms of music where you have lots of stage props to enhance the show you have your instrument and your voice.

They were singing in French, but the melody was freedom and any American could understand that.
