I knew I was clumsy.

I think everybody knew he was going to be special, but we didn't know when. Just like Joe had a presence, Steve had a presence. It was different, but it was there. We just knew we were lucky to have two guys like that.

That audience was absolutely crazy. And I knew they would be. There had never been anything like that. It was absolutely crazy. They couldn't get enough of that.

I think I just went into a system that was willing to utilize me and gave me opportunities and I felt fortunate to be able to go to Oakland and put the silver and black on. I wanted to prove to everybody that I could still play.
