I just worked my heart out today because I'm a senior and this is my last chance to get to state. That's my goal and that's where I want to end my season.

Our guys are playing with a lot of confidence right now. They've been waiting for this season for a long time.

We have a difficult portion of our schedule coming up now. We have beaten some tough teams. We will try to keep it going in the right direction.

So far, the pitching has been very good. The hitters are still getting their timing down. The pitching has remained consistent and we are scoring enough to win and getting some timely hits.

This was a good opener, and the way our schedule is, we should have good crowds all year.

Tony is an all-day tough kid. We have a lot of confidence in him to get out of those tough situations. I'm not surprised he came through today.
