I just want to be able to make things happen whenever he (Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy) calls on me. He left me in there in crucial situations, and I was able to make some plays and do some things to help the team win.

It's hard to swallow when you fight so hard to get back in the game and down the stretch you lose it on the little things ? loose balls, key rebounds and free throws. It's always hard to lose games like that.

I was able to get in the lane and make things happen. Coach (Lawrence Frank) did a good job of putting me in different positions to succeed.

We made it dramatic. But that's why Coach (Van) Chancellor and Coach (Bill) Laimbeer made the moves. They knew it wasn't going to be easy. They had the foresight to look at who they were going to be playing the last 10 games.

Things happen at the back of the bus the coach never knows about. It just happens - it's part of being a rookie.

Hopefully, nothing will happen, but we gear up for the calls we might get afterward.
