I just have to suck it up and play. This is my first year at Rose Hill after sitting out all of last year. I love playing with these girls.

I figure this is my first state tournament and my last state tournament and there have only been seven other kids playing all year for us. Everybody comes to play in the big games and we knew it wasn't going to be easy. They came back and gave us a little scare, but we kept our composure and pulled through to get the win.

We played the way Venice High is supposed to play. Even if we would have lost tonight, I still would have been proud of the way we played.
