I have tons of art books. I have them all over the place. They are in my car, in my bag, and in my studio. There are books around me all the time.

You have to look at it as a piece of artwork.

I read in a weird way. It comes in waves, and then I start, like, five different books at once. It takes me six months to a year to finish them all, since I read mostly on planes.

Compelling art to me is a name carved into a tree. Sometimes a rock soaring through a plate of glass can be the most beautiful, compelling work of art I have ever seen.

I'm really into California art from the '60s.

When I look at the photo, I think -- cute! HUF and I never thought the image was 'racist' and I am sorry to those people who perceive it that way.
