I have a couple moments in the third period where I have a chance to score goals, but I didn't score. We have six more games, we must forget this game.

We came out and played hard. I'm happy to score three goals to win this game. It's my first hat trick in the NHL and it feels like my first goal in the NHL.

I don't look at history. I enjoy my hockey career here in Washington. ... I'm glad I score lots of goals, and I'm glad some goals are winning goals.

There was two second left in game. I don't know why he do it. He was disappointed we beat Toronto, I guess.

We lost [in the] second period. We play very well in first period but we can't score. First period, we have great chances [to score] but guys don't score. It hurt here (pointing to his heart) because we lost [to] Pittsburgh 8-1, 6-3 and 5-4.

I can't score every game. I can't do something special every game. [But] my specialty is to score goals.
