I had messed up that game, and I thought coaches wouldn't have much faith in me. I was nervous. I was seeing the plays, but I wouldn't react to it.

We don't want to put a pavement overlay when we know it may get messed up again. What we really hate is when the developer has to cut new pavement.

They were really tough, man. I think we could have had [the game] but guys didn't step up and do what they needed to do at the time.

It was a good game, but I'd say we could have played better. We've got good coaches and a good line. I'm pretty sure we could have stepped up on defense and played better.

I'm always nervous when I start a new picture.
