I found that I always loved cooking, and that's an important part of nutrition ? being able to cook and prepare your foods at home. I had seen the cooking school done, and I thought it would be a very interesting and fun career to move into.

There will be a few recipes in the show that feature national sponsor ingredients. When we're putting a show together, we want to have a variety of dishes and pick out a few things that we think are new and different and some things that have some teaching technique as well.

It's a combination of all those factors. With this show, we focus on things that are fairly quick and easy.

We're also going to be giving away all the dishes that we prepare. We'll be drawing a winner, and somebody will get to take that home.

They're the kind of quick and easy things to throw together if your team won the game or child or grandchild has brought home a good report card and you want to treat somebody to something that's nice but isn't going to keep you in the kitchen for hours and hours. They're easy-but-delicious treats and entrees.

Taste as you go. When you taste the food throughout the cooking process you can make adjustments as you go.
