I fought for everything I ever got in the journalism business, and I'm proud of what I did. But I'm ashamed of the business, too.

And I really believe good journalism is good business.

He was doing this gonzo journalism, which meant 'it's the way I see it -- and if the facts get in the way, well, we'll get rid of the facts ... ' He had a lot of fun with it and he'd liven up the bus or the airplane and we were always kind of glad to see him I think.

I think the business of journalism is in a very desperate strait right now. And that might be the best thing for it.

This new venture will aim to meet the growing demand in that region for accurate and insightful business journalism - both in terms of covering Indian business, as well connecting the dots between India and the rest of the business world.
