I find Pat a terrific academic leader, very straightforward and a good communicator, and well-versed in the workings of a complex university. He is decisive and responsive in decision making, seeks and incorporates input to important decisions and has an excellent interpersonal style.

In all those years I've known Pat, she never made me feel like a maid. She made me feel a key member of the family in the house. We became close friends. We called each other by our first names.

He adds a lot. He's got a good overview of everything from all aspects, ... He's well-versed as a driver, a team owner. He came up through the ranks from the modified division, so Brett has seen the sport from the times he was riding around in his brother's pickup truck as a pre-teenager to what it is now.

That's what's good about this place. It's just a straightforward bar.
