I felt like those who were least able to generate additional income were the most affected. I really had no idea this was under consideration.

Now I have grandchildren. It upsets me they'll have to leave the state to earn a good income.

There are more buyers and customers in the medium income bracket than there are in the upper income bracket.

Everyone else is parsing it in terms of lowering the corporate income tax. Eliminate it. It's not that big of a generator of income, and it's a double tax. Get rid of it, and you would have an explosion of hiring.

If I could wave a magic wand, we would eliminate income tax; we would eliminate corporate tax. We would abolish the IRS, and we could replace all of it with one federal consumption tax.

Never let a problem to be solved become more important than the person to be loved.
