I feel that the Israeli people want to see a new way of governing. The people want to see change, unity and hope.

I came here as a messenger of the people of Israel who have called for change and renewal. And I am determined to bring about change and renewal,

Just a year ago the public gave us a mandate to lead -- not to protect what exists, but to change the reality from its core and to assure the future of Israel,

Leadership can change its mind; leadership can open its eye. Leadership can even be replaced.

The people of the Middle East are ready for the dawn of a new era, ... I believe it is our duty, leaders of all parties, to pave the way.

I'm sure that the people, like me, will stand by this government and do everything we can to help it.
