I feel like I'm going to have to pick up the newspaper in the morning and read it just to make myself believe it. This is incredible. We're going to the Final Four! We're really going to the Final Four!

How does it feel? Surreal.

Every time you pick up the newspaper you read about one company merging with another company. Of course, we have laws to protect competition in the United States, but one can't help thinking that, if the trend continues the whole country will soon be merged into one large company.

Pick up any newspaper or magazine, open the TV, and you'll be bombarded with suggestions of how to have a successful life. Some of these suggestions are deeply unhelpful to our own projects and priorities - and we should take care.

I read the newspaper avidly. It is my one form of continuous fiction.
