I feel compelled ... in doing everything possible to block the Dubai Ports deal, and ensure that critical infrastructure to the U.S. economy are protected from foreign takeover in the future.

The incompetent handling of the Dubai Ports deal was just the tip of the iceberg. Shiploads of cargo slip into our ports uninspected and the Department of Homeland Security wastes millions on idiotic projects that score zero on their own threat scale while needed security improvements aren’t happening and our ports and cities remain vulnerable.

A lot of this reaction to Dubai ports came from Republicans. We are going to have problems no matter who wins in the elections this year.

It is the commencement of a battle. I suspect Dubai Ports are not going to sit on their hands. Shareholders will get more at the end of the day.
