Young guys, perhaps not too advanced in their careers, could afford to buy maybe a second-hand Porsche 911. But then they got married, had kids, and had to move away from the brand for about 20 years.

They probably had some points to prove. I'm sure they wanted to build their confidence back up, and they're a good team, there's no doubt about it.
