I don't think we did a great job of getting the ball to Derrick in the first half. So, if he wanted to score some points, he was going to have to hit the offensive board.

Lincoln scares me, because they're so good offensively. They're a dangerous team with the road they had to take (to state).

Dale is outstanding with the basketball and he is so much a better finisher and that really helps us. We had a great team effort all around.

In playing against them before, we realized that if you put a hand in their face, they still can bury their shots. So we really had to concentrate on contesting everything they put up.

We said before the game, it was going to take everybody to get this done. I think everybody took that to heart and came together.

I think we're both pretty easygoing and that's why we remain friends to this day.
