We should be reducing the amount of carbon we put in the atmosphere. There are a lot of things that can be done right now that make economic sense. Forward motion is what we need.

Anyone can dabble, but once you've made that commitment, your blood has that particular thing in it, and it's very hard for people to stop you.

I was struck by the deep commitment that some of these individuals have for green building and the number of years they have been involved with the practice. Most of them have not just recently jumped on the bandwagon, but have helped create the current momentum that green building is enjoying locally.
