I don't think people realize or tend to forget how really turbulent a period it was. There was just a lot of unrest and uncertainly, but R.C. stabilized the entire program, and a lot of it had to do with the kind of person he is. I don't think a lot of people really understood how rough the sledding was.

I think his quarterback Chris Leak, and this is me saying it not Urban, doesn't really look like he wants to run the option. He doesn't look like he's really a guy ... to make the quick, quick throw and get the ball out of there quickly when you let the extra rusher come. So it's not just the (speed of) SEC defenses. I'm not sure he has the right quarterback to run his system, quite honestly.

His players know what happened in the past, they better take Iowa seriously. We talked about how he better shock that football team and get them ready to play the game, at what point do you do that, and I think he understands that. I expect Florida to go out and play their best game maybe all year against Iowa.

If [first-year Irish coach] Charlie Weis gives a clinic, I'm going. I'm on the bandwagon now.

Dan Hawkins needs to go out and recruit because they are lacking speed on this football team.

Last year's Florida offense is very, very similar to what Urban does.
